Our soaps are handmade with soy, coconut, and olive oils, no animal fats are used in the soap making process. Generally, the soaps are made using water but we have found that using goat milk creates a very creamy lather, so you will find that we have a section for Goat Milk Soaps.
Essential oils are plant derived fragrances and we prefer to use them when possible. In cases where the scent is from an endangered plant, not naturally available, or just too costly, we are very pleased to offer high quality, fragrance oils. We have found that blending essential oils and fragrance oils together gives us many more fabulous scents, which are unique to our company. We also offer a variety of unscented soaps as sometimes a scent is not desired.
Some soaps will have specialty oils added for their richly desired properties. These oils, such as shea butter and hemp butter, are added at the end of the soap making process, allowing them to retain their own identity.
We use spices and natural clays for coloring, and cosmetic grade colorings such as pigments or micas when natural colorings are not available.
